There will come a day when for what ever reason sex workers will decide it is time to move on and out of the industry. This thread will cover many aspects that will help you do that and is written from personal experiences and a lot of research into doing it. Naturally we all work to live and need to cover our outgoings from what ever income we have so the first place to start is to sit down and work out your personal budget - by this I mean how much you pay out each month thus giving you a good idea of what you need to be earning to cover your bills as well as leaving enough for fun things and yes savings and a rainy day where possible. A personal budget is a finance plan that allocates future personal income towards expenses, savings and debt repayment. Past spending and personal debt are considered when creating a personal budget. There are several methods and tools available for creating, using and adjusting a personal budget. You can do this by taking your bank statements and taking note of all your standing orders and direct debits, then writing down what you spend on groceries, petrol and takeaways each week or month. don't forget to include the ciggies if you smoke, your national lottery tickets or newspapers and mags as they all add up. Or there are of course lots of great sites to help you do this and guide you through the process heres one from the god of moneysaving www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/Budget-planning#planner

Great we know what salary we should be looking for, the next question is of course what do you want to do work wise.................................that is a big one.
Do you want to be self employed? Do you want to work full or part time? Do you want to or can you do shift work? Do you want to retrain?
